DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
My client is a professional firm of independent financial advisers providing a range of fee based advisory services and fee based products. The Company has become one of the most respected firms in the IFA sector .
This is a new role and will focus on the management and direct day to day operations of the Company. Reporting to the Chairman and Managing Director you will be responsible for planning and managing the activities and direction of the Company and ensuring the day to day operations of the business run smoothly. You will direct and co-ordinate management across all areas of the business, assisting the Chairman in setting company targets, policies and objectives and provide the Chairman with regular reports of progress. You will review all tax and investment products and set, manage and monitor quality standards across the business. You will be an active member of the Management Team.
You should have experience in the financial Services sector, preferably IFA based, with experience in a senior financial and/or business role in a significant organisation, including having led a financial or commercial team within such an organisation. You will need a strong innovative IT attitude and exhibit the ability to work and communicate effectively with other functions in an organization.
You must have experience as a leader who can set the direction and achieve results through a motivated team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the credibility to interact with senior levels of management inside and outside the business. Overall you must be a self-disciplined and self-motivated person with the desire to run a business on a day to day basis.
